Summer 2026 Registration Opens Tomorrow!
Hello Riptide Families & Happy Easter!
Registration for the 2026 season opens tomorrow 4/6 at 6pm on our SwimTopia site. We are excited to welcome new families and welcome back returning families.
How to Register: It’s easy! After 6pm tomorrow (4/6), go to our SwimTopia site and look for the button on the right hand side of the page that says Register Now. Once you click you’ll need to make sure to select “2026 Summer Registration”. We still have registration open for our winter program so you will want to make sure to choose the correct registration for summer. Once you have done this, follow the prompts to register.

*All families registering for Virginia Run Riptide must be in good standing with the Virginia Run HOA. We will send a list of all registered families to the HOA for approval.
Swim Suit Included in Registration Fees: You can go get sized for suits at Cassel's as soon as you register. You will need to remember your suit size and fill out the link on our Spirit Wear, Suits and Caps tab. Suits will be bulk ordered and delivered to you by the start of practices if you order before May 10. We will send a list of registered swimmers to Cassel's and update them with a new list each week. Cassel's is located at 4115 Pleasant Valley Rd., Suit #500, Chantilly, VA 20151.
New Families - the team suit is not required to be worn for practices. Team suits must be worn for meets. However, lots of swimmers like to wear their team suit for practices too and for the boys wearing a jammer to practice is helpful vs swim trunks. You can buy practice suits at Cassel's, wear the team suit, or other suit you own for practices.

You can order your Riptide Spiritwear and enter your suit size here.
Team T-Shirts Donated for each swimmer by Pin Oak Tree Services! You will be prompted to input your swimmer’s size during registration. Thank you Joey and Pin Oak for this generous donation!
Equipment Needed for Practices
Fins – you can purchase at Cassel’s. We will have a bin at practice of old fins that can be borrowed or purchased for $5 (sizes are random and just whatever was left behind in previous seasons)
Goggles
Caps – these are not required for practice, but some swimmers like to wear them. Team caps will be sold on the site and if your swimmer wears a cap, only the team cap can be worn at meets.
Question about equipment for practice? Contact Coach Patrick at [email protected]
Volunteer Sign-up: All families registered with Riptide are required to volunteer throughout our season. The Riptide volunteer commitment has been slightly adjusted for the upcoming season and is as follows:
Each family must complete a total of 6 volunteer jobs:
-1 job per family (and only 1 job) must be at either Time Trials or Make-up Time Trails
-5 additional jobs (only 1 can be social). Social jobs are still being determined and will be posted at a later date.
*Please note these are the minimum volunteer requirements for each family. We are grateful for any additional slots families wish to fill. There may be times throughout the season that we ask families to complete additional slots, we appreciate your help and kindness in going above and beyond.
*Families with swimmers participating in special meets such as Relay Carnival, Divisionals and All Star Meets are expected to volunteer at these meets. Volunteering at any of these meets does not count toward the Riptide volunteer commitment laid out above.
We appreciate all of our volunteers, we cannot be successful without your help! Questions about volunteering or volunteer roles? Contact Stefanie at [email protected]
General questions about Riptide? Contact Karen at [email protected] and/or Anne at [email protected].
We look forward to seeing you on the pool deck!
Go Riptide!
