We are excited to announce that Riptide will be a part of Division 10 for the 2026 Summer Season! Below please find some important dates for the upcoming summer as well as a call for some key volunteer positions.

May 26: Afternoon Practices Begin

June 18: Practices Switch to Mornings

June 20: A Meet #1 VR vs Stratford @ Stratford

June 22: B Meet #1 TBD

June 27: A Meet #2 VR vs Commonwealth @ VR

June 29: B Meet #2 TBD

July 4: A Meet #3 VR vs Sully Station @ Sully Station

July 6: B Meet #3 TBD

July 8: Relay Carnival @ Virginia Run

July 11: A Meet #4 VR vs Daventry @ Daventry

July 13: B Meet #4

July 18: A Meet #5-Senior Ceremony VR vs South Run @ VR 

July 20: B Meet # 5 TBD

July 25: Divisionals @ Stratford

Please make every effort for your swimmer to be available to swim at each meet.  Our team is most successful when we have all of our swimmers!

Key Volunteer Slots Open

We have a few key volunteer slots open.  Please consider volunteering for one of these openings.

A Meet Rep:  We are looking for a volunteer who would like to join our team and learn the role of A Meet Rep.  We are looking to make this a 3 year rotation where there are always 3 volunteers to share the load and support each other.  This is a board position. If you are interested in volunteering and/or learning more about this role please reach out to Karen Harris or Anne Crowell.  

Data Coordinator:  Our data team is looking for a volunteer who would like to learn how to do team data this season.  If you are interested in volunteering and/or learning more about this role please reach out to Kelly McDonough or Jenny Dunn.
